We have fireplaces that have been blocked up and we would like to get vents fitted in the wall to help with the airflow and reduce humidity. Do you have any forums about doing this or if not which trade does this work?

Hi soulville100,
Any builder should be able to do this for you.
Cut a 20x10cm hole through into the flue, tidy up and fit a hit and miss vent. Don't forget to make similar holes in the stack if the chimney has been capped.
