Hi pepsiandcoke,
Looks like a leak in a pipe could even be in the loft with water coming down inside the wall.

Hi pepsiandcoke,
If it is a pipe leaking and you have water tank(s) in your loft I would suspect the mains pipe in the first instance. Start looking for leaks in the loft.
You would need to start with a plumber to see if they can find the cause.
If the wall is a stud wall cutting a hole in it and making good should be relatively straightforward.
If the wall is a masonry wall start by using a metal detector (or a person with one) to see if pipes are buried in the wall.
Regards S
