The toilet started filling slowly - about 5 minutes to fill.
I cleaned it all but it looked ok really.
I put it back together and it worked first time.
However the second flush was slow, and I noticed some of the water was jetting
where the float arm joins the valve.
It only stops if you close the float arm.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi henryvl,
Save yourself a lot of frustration and fit a new valve. Depending on the valve you have fitted you may only need to replace the valve head.
