Domestic water system for installing Quooker

by JohnWA » Sun Jan 01, 2023 6:54 pm

I am about to start installing a Quooker 3L boiling tank, a Quooker cold water filter and a Harvey Crown (non-electric) water softener in our kitchen extension but can't find any information on the Internet about how those three items should be connected/configured.
Is it :- softener first, then split to filter and boiling tank; or split incoming main to filter and softener, then softener output fed to boiling tank; or split to filter and tank and only soften water going to cold tank in the roof.
Cheers

Hi johnwa,
It will depend on your tap arrangement.
Mains in, branch off for direct mains water to sink, branch off for filter, (feeds boiler and filtered cold to tap), branch off for feed to softener. You could then add a second tap for cold softened and hot softened.
