Water Tank and Water Pressure Problems

My first post on the forum, seeking help.

We have what appears to be a water storage tank, it has a single pipe connection at the base of the tank and some form of connector on the top. Photos attached. In the last few weeks we have been having water pressure problems that have been getting worse. Our static pressure doesn't seem to be an issue but we share a water line with our neighbour so flow rate is not great. Can someone tell me what this tank is and if it can have an effort on the pressure in the house.

Thank you

Hi davidcr57,
Suggest you have a look at the ‘skill builder’ site and search for the video ‘how to fix your low water pressure problem’ . It’s probably too much detail but will help you understand your installation.
Regards S
