Replacing ceiling recessed E14 light with Pendant light

by Beatrice1711 » Thu Mar 02, 2023 11:38 am

I am in the process of redecorating and I have this recessed ceiling light with E14 bulb (image of both attached) that I would like to replace with a pendant light. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks!

If the room is a bathroom you can NOT have a pendant light, assuming it is NOT a bathroom, you would need to move the cables from the ceiling light to a ceiling rose and connect the pendant to the ceiling rose, then make good the hole in the ceiling.

It is not possible to say connect this wire to that terminal as it depends on how it has actually been done, so you would be better off using the services of a competent person to do the job for you.
