Moving a vent pipe from side of house

by CGladwell » Wed Mar 08, 2023 11:33 am

Hi,

I'm after some advice, currently my vent pipe is on the side of the house, in the driveway. Unfortunately it sticks out a good 10 inches into the drive and I would like to move it to the rear of the house.

There is an inspection chamber about 6 foot away from where I would like to move it to. How would I connect it to the chamber ?

Many thanks

Craig

Hi cgladwell,
Your vent pipe should be at the highest point in your system so if the inspection chamber you refer to is the first one then dig a trench and connect to you new soil pipe.
