How to cap flexi water pipe

by Wildmohican » Sun Mar 26, 2023 1:14 pm

Hi all. I’m planning on renovating my downstairs bathroom and had a question about capping water pipes temporarily so I can start the water back up again whilst I’m doing some other bits. The pipes are 1. To the cistern, and 2. Hot and Cold to the sink. Both are flexi pipes with the link to the copper pipe obvious and accessible for the toilet pipe however the flexi pipe goes deep into the wall for the sink taps. Any ideas on good products for temporary capping would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hi wildmohican,
Buy some 1/2” bsp stop ends with male threads and fit these in the flexibles - you will probably need a rubber washer in each one.
