Deep embedded staples - removing

by Cabria » Fri Mar 31, 2023 4:39 pm

Trying to remove a load of staples that are very deeply embedded in a divan base for an upcycling project. They're too deep and narrow for small pliers to get at them. Any ideas? Want to keep the frame for the new project.

Hi cabria
Use a flat blade screwdriver to prise up the middle, then use your pliers

thanks for your reply. that didn't work for me so i ended up chiseling the wood down to reach the staples.
