Hi All
Have just hab a concrete slab laid 2 weeks ago to hold a concrete slab garage. Once the garage is built im looking to level the floor. Not because it slopes but to get a smooth finish on it (although its pretty flat),

Question. should I seal the new concrete before using a self levelling compound OR is there an alternative?

Your best chance of success is to hire a floor grinder to get is smooth.
