Helllo!

These doors were installed a couple of years back and they are now going hazy/cloudy in the early evening or after a rainfall. They have battery operated, internal motorised blinds that were installed into the glass before they were installed in our house. The drawstrings from the blinds are also rubbing against the inside of the glass which creates some of the vertical stripes within the hazey areas.

Pics attached - any ideas what is causing the problem and what it would take to fix it? We now have 4 doors experiencing the same problems when they were fine a while back.

Hi swallowtail house,
Most likely cause it that the seal on the glass units has failed, it’s time to dig out your invoice and see if there’s a guarantee. You may find whilst the doors are guaranteed for 5/10 years the glass units may be 1/2 years.
