Waste water pipe to stack

by HADB11 » Sat Aug 12, 2023 10:45 pm

Hello,

I'm planning a bathroom renovation of an ensuite in a dormer loft conversion.

The shower and basin waste feed into the same waste pipe. This pipe currently runs above the floor (boxed in along the bottom of the wall) and then exits the back of the dormer, runs along the outside of the dormer wall and then joins the main soil stack.

In the photo the waste pipe is the white pipe leaving the back of the dormer.

We want to move the waste pipe underneath the ensuite floor.
As this will involve moving the pipe exit to a lower position on the dormer wall, are there any recommendations on how this new pipe should join the soil stack?

Hi hadb11,
Take the pipe out through the facia and below the gutter, run it along and under the gutter beyond the stack, use a double bend to bring it back into the soil stack using a boss connector.
