Priming OSB for outdoor kitchen area

by mesharp » Mon Sep 04, 2023 1:46 pm

Hi all,

I have built a simple outdoor, but covered kitchen area and created tops out of OSB. I have decided to tile them and just wanted some advice on the best approach to sealing/prepping. I appreciate this isn't an ideal choice but it is what I have so just trying to make the best of it. Most online advice seems to be "anything but PVA".

The tiles are just for the worktop, not the wall etc

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks

Mike

Hi mesharp,
Suggest you use polyurethane varnish - preferably spirit based.
