Twisting myself in knots - Double oven cabinet to single oven conversion

by TheMetalDad » Fri Feb 09, 2024 10:18 am

Recently had our old double oven replaced with a more efficient and practical single oven, but it's left me with a problem. How to fill the space left. Ideally, I'd like a small cupboard allow access to the mainard there which, although doable, I'm unsure of the practicalities, especially how to fit the pack panel. Ideally, it needs to be removable to allow access to the main power switch, but I'm twisting myself in knots trying to work out the easiest way forward. Any help, advice, suggestions etc etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Hi themetaldad,
Buy a shallow cupboard unit slightly less deep than the gap you have, modify the width so it will fit in above the oven.fit rails to the oven housing so the unit can be slid out for access. Fit a door, the same width as the oven housing on the unit with horizontal hinges.
Regards S
