Can I concrete onto a hardcore and screed base? Am at the in-laws and they have put hardcore and thrown some screed over it to raise the level before I put the concrete down. They did so to save a few quid. The area is only 3m2 tops, is in there garden and will not have much foot traffic on it at all. They have left me around 50-75mm for the concrete

Hi lgc369,
You’ll be fine provided the thickness is 75mm or more. 50mm is too thin for “poured” concrete.
