We're installing two good quality 'stable" doors on exterior walls of our kitchen - they're oak veneer on a hardwood core.
Talking to the manufacturer regarding woodstain systems they advised Cetol HLS plus (1 coat) and Cetol Filter 7 plus (2 coats). We asked advice from our paint supplier who said we should make sure that Cetol wasn't going to lift the veneer. Back to the manufacturer, who agreed, but didn't offer a solution.
Any advice would be very welcome....
