Live in a 1975 Wimpey chalet bedrooms are red hot in summer and freezing cold in winter. Adding 400mm insulation on top of builders ,50mm. Spotted than under the chalet flat roof 50 mm insulation appears to be stuck under the roof boards with what looks like a 50mm sir gap to the top of the bedroom plasterboard ceiling. Cannot get close to it because of the supporting trestle? to the roof trusses. Looks as if I could push something right up the gap. Question is would it be worthwhile and what could I use please
