Making odd size doors

by AndyRed » Sat Oct 19, 2024 9:39 pm

Hi,

I need some advice on how to make a pair of odd size doors. They are for an outhouse and I do not know where to start.
The frame is already in and here are the dimensions looking at the frame:

Left height - 1770mm
Right height - 1740mm
Width - 1450mm

I am thinking either 2 doors or 1 large one.

I have just moved in so trying to keep the budget low.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi andyred,
Suggest you buy some ledged and braced doors which will be oversize but are easy to trim to the dimensions you’ve given. You could try a reclaim yard where the doors will be better quality but will probably need renovating.
