Hi Guys, hope you can shed some light on this problem yet again i have
I have a 2 gang 2 way switch to which i am replacing with a new one, the problem is that i am having trouble wiring this up,
First i have Live coming in to common being a red sleeved wire
Secondly i have a black with a red sleeve on it
thirdly i have a red wire
at the moment the switch is working putting the light on in the utility room
and the other wire i thought or could be is for an outside light which hassn't worked since i moved in
the wiring is as follows - red live is in common and bridged over to the second common
the black with red sleeving is in L2
and the third wire red is in L1
at the moment the light in the utility is working but i cannot get the outside light to work
do i need another wire here for the outside light??????
as when i have tried to wire this up in different positions it keeps blowing the fuse
If anyone can help i would appreciate it very much
