push fit connectors

I have a new house with plastic pipe installed for everything I need to replace a basin tap The tap has copper tails which go to a push fit connectors Is it possible to pull the pipes out of these fittings

Hi skruss,
it is possible just make sure when you fit the new basin that the copper has no burs on them and that the copper is pushed far enough into the fitting,if it's possible to do so fit isolation vavles to the hot and cold feed coz if you have a problem you just need to turn those of and not the whole house.
