Old Ceiling coving

finally moved in and started to do some work....

Need some advice on trying to match the original plaster coving from the living room from the hall way

Any suggestions as to where to look - I have tried the internet but it seems that few compannies now do the plater cove>

any assistance would be appreciated.

It is possible to make new coving from a mold of the exsisting coving. Depends on how much you need, a small section or entire room. If its a full room Id just buy a good as possible match. Hope this helps.

All do several designs these days but you'll never get an exact match but if they're in different rooms noone will tell if they're slightly different.

How old is the house? Are you sure your "coving" isn't the end result of one of these really clever plasterer fellas who can form cornices using the same stuff he spreads on the walls.

Can't do plastering - just can't master the skills!!

I have a specialist coving maker only 20 miles away and she has an almost exact copy of the one I have - phew.......

Worth looking around - thats a fact
