Waste pipe connections

by gremlinsdad » Wed Oct 31, 2007 4:27 pm

When connecting the waste of a new shower tray, how do I decide which connectors to use on the plastic piping, i.e., push fit, compression, or solvent weld?

go for solvent weld but before you glue put the pipe work together to ensure you have the correct run, mark the pipe and fitting, take apart and glue, joining the lines up on the pipe and fitting.

hope this helps,
Mark

its entirely up to you, if the waste pipe is not connecting into any other piping other than the soil pipe then its you choice
personally id go for solvent weld
