Problems getting rads to fit existing pipe spacings.

by oddballpaul » Sun Nov 04, 2007 11:18 pm

Im having problems getting new radiators to fit the spacng of the existing pipework (old ones were nicked).

Unfortunately all the floors are parquet flooring and so I dont want to damage this by digging up the floors and changing the centers of the pipework.

Does anyone know of any spacers to fit between the valves and the rads?
For example: so that a standard 800mm rad can be fitted in a 840mm space with zero disruption to the floor?

Any wholesaler/web address/advice would be greatly appreciated as it's getting cold.

Cheers

Go to the web sites tool store and click through into plumbing. Then type in radiator valve tails to teh Screwfix search box.
