Tiling over under floor heating Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

I'm going to lay under floor heating (electric) in my kitchen, which will be stuck on top of insulation boards.
When i come to tile, ive been advised to use Rapid Set, do I simply mix then pour the rapid set up to the height of the electric cables and place my tiles on top!

if you are using rapid set you will not be able to pour it it will have to applied by trowel
most tilers would apply the adhesive to the tile then lay the tile down,that way you dont catch the heating element use a 6mm floor trowel
