Hello ,

My garden wall which runs length ways down the garden has a 2 foot deep foundation , next door has had a new garage built at the bottom of their garden next to my garden wall with footings much less than 2 feet. Am i allowed to excavate within 3 metres of their garage providing i do not go deeper than 2 feet ? As i want to build a wall to go across the width of the garden but to end 1.4 meters from their garage.
