No light Upstairs

by diegosilang » Tue Nov 13, 2007 11:34 am

Hi there.

Last night, one of my upstairs lights started flickering so i replaced the bulb with a new one but the flickering continued therefore i just removed the bulb from the socket. A few hours after that, all the upstairs light stopped working. All the sockets and the downstairs lights still works.

What do you think is wrong with the upstairs lighting circuit? or to put the question differently, how can i fix the problem? is it just a matter of replacing the rose for that particular light that flickers?

Please Advice.

You have a fault of some description. If that was the only light on the circuit flickering there's a good chance this is where you fault is. take it down & check the wiring, if that is OK check the switches for that light, if that is OK check the light before it on the circuit. After this I'd say get an electrician in.
