torbeck valve again

I have read some of the posts re torbeck valves. mine dosnt have a filter just a diapham was new didnt hold to start then did after dismantle with nothing changed held the seal but the toilet not used for months now will not hold just runs the float is open bottomed is this ok how do i stop it running cannot see a adjustment the water comes over the top of the float . overflows down the toilet,

For now turn it off at the isolator and pop down to a diy shop and buy a new one.


There about £5-20 depending on what you buy and simple to fit.
