Removing an old gas fire

by Bomber » Thu Dec 06, 2007 3:52 pm

Does anybody have any idea how a Glow-worm Allegro Super N fire is attached to the wall?

I am having a new fire installed in a couple of weeks (by registered Corgi fitters) but I need to remove the existing fire and get the chimney cleaned before the fitters arrive and I can't see how (the mains gas has been disconnected).

If anyone can give me any advice I would appreciate it.

The glow-worm web site gives a technical number to call. They should be able to help or direct you where to find the info you want.

Thanks roger196, I had already contacted them but didn't get a response (hence my posting).
I have since had an e-mail from them and they are going to send me the technical specifications.
I would certainly recommend that anyone else who has any problems contacts the technical help on their website.
