When turning on a hot water tap the water runs cold after a few minutes and then stays cold. The problem is worse the further from the boiler the tap is. please help....

I take it this is a combi boiler, probably the diverter valve is not operating correctly get an engineer to check it out. Unless you can post model I can't offer any further detailed help

Yes it is a combi boiler. Model is Format 80 C.
