bathroom spotlight

by pentel » Wed Apr 11, 2007 12:03 pm

Hi i'm new and currently putting a new spotlight in the bathroom where a shaver/light used to be. The spot does not have a pull switch like the previous shaver light and I would like to fit one. I have a small pull switch from an old spotlight which looks good enough.

stop!
be v. cautious, all fittings in bathroom must be correct for zone in which installed, your original one sounds like proper bathroom fitting the new one does not ie is it sealed against moisture etc. modifying a fitting is not recommended & may contravene CE conformity rules and would be illegal, would suggest changing fitting for correct type with fitted pull sw.
