Tartan carpet

by soblue2001 » Wed Apr 04, 2007 6:57 pm

Anybody suggest the best place (ie the cheapest) to buy tartan carpet for a stair and landing.

I know it will look at bit 'hotel-ly', but always fancied it.

About 40 quid psm, I've been quoted.

There must be better out there.

Any help appreciated.

Tartan Carpets

My search found it was going to be very expensive but once you have identified a local supplier, watch out for their sale times, e.g. Allied Carpets do Brintons.

Another, possible cheaper, option might be to choose a 'mock' tartan.
There may well be other general carpet manufacturers who do similar 'mocks'.

Happy carpet hunting.

Tartan Carpets

I have found wool tartan carpets from about £37/m and man made ones from £20/m.

Google "floors4home.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=33&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26"

Happy hunting![/url]
