Pls advise, we have bought some downlighters for our bathroom, and also some 12mm LED lights. the question is can the LED lights be wired into the main lighting switch with the downlighters. Currently the LED light are with a plug, can we removed the plug and wire it in with the downlighter's switch?

check to see if it is a standard plug as LED's must have some current limiting device some where & it maybe in plug.
please see projects for wiring lights, & you know of course it is illegal to fit bathroom wiring your self,
I hope you mean to have the lights connected to the original ceiling rose wiring you can't connect to the switch, also it is unlikely your halogen down lights are rated for use in a bathroom.
Get someone qualified in!
