we have had several plumbers round and almost everything on our system has been changed, including all stats valves etc, but still no luck, we have to switch the hot water off then turn room stat up to get heating and when you want hot water you have to turn controls to off and turn room stat down so if you can work that one out ill be well impressed many thanks if you want any more info just ask.

This sounds like a wiring error, but wiring can't change itself so can you explain a little bit about the history?

You don't mention what type of system you have. Gravity, "S" , "Y" or "W" plan. Really need more information.

Another point, if someone needs to check the electrical circuitry, and bearing in mind the dangers, who would look at it?
