i want to fit a pumped shower system .can i fit the pump under the bath ,connecting to exsisting pipe work to the mixer unit or will i need to have dedicated supplies to the pump plus cylinder flange

You cannot use existing supplies. All mixer showers to function correctly and safely must have dedicated supplies.

A Surrey or ******* flange may be necessary when a pumped shower is fitted, but a close connection to the top of the cylinder is often sufficient. Try first, and if air is drawn in, fit a flange.

You will also almost certainly have to increase the size of your header tank to satisfy the increased requirement of water
