Hello,
I'm told that the HIP includes a measure of energy efficiency, which I assume includes a measure of how well your home is insulated. Does anyone know how inspectors test the insulation? For example, if I insulate the loft and then lay loft boards, the insulation can't be seen although it may be well insulated.
Will the inspection lift floorboards, drill walls etc, take it on the owners word that a wall/floor is insulated, look at certificates or use a measurement device.
Many thanks for any info,
Martyn
