Air bricks

by Danc » Sat Jan 12, 2008 6:37 pm

Hi, I have a small brick wall to one side of my conservatory showing signs of damp and mouldy mortar. There is a damp proof course but no air bricks. The wall is about 6 square meters (1.2m high) and i was going to install 2 air bricks. Do the air bricks go directly on the damp proof course above or 1 course above?

Thanks

As long as they are above the DPC it does not matter where they are but ventilating the cavity will not always solve the problem!
