I have a heatline solaris combi boiler and 2 days ago the boiler will fire up and run the the central heating, but it reaches the maximum temperature set for the rads very quickly (20 seconds) then switches off. The pump is running fine so is the fan, also no problem with the hot water. Help

Are the flow and return valves on boiler fully open ?

Sure the pump is fine ? the inpeller may have came away from the motor.
Does the flow pipe get hot ? any radiator heat up ?

Could be a faulty heating sensor. Or diverter valve sticking.

:( we too have problems with our central heating which has happened over the last couple of days. The boiler is firing up and off very quickly. The pump is running but the rads are not heating up but we do have hot water. We've just changed the mid-position actuator but still no success - any ideas?
