Am fitting (theoretically ofcourse ) an outside socket , i have about a 3 metre run from socket to spur off which takes me to inside of wall where socket is going , would you suggest a fused connection unit on inside wall with a connecting cable directly through to outside socket behind it ,Thanks Jeff

yes & if socket not already on RCD circuit you can fit RCD fused spur to give protection to socket 'outside equipotential zone'. redards SPARX
