Hi
Was looking for some advice on a problem with my central heating system.
My upstairs radiators require a lot of air bleeding out of them every 2-3 days, yet we never have to bleed the downstairs ones at all. Can anyone offer a possible explanation and remedy?
As the name suggests, I'm completely green around plumbing, and don't know if I've even provided enough information. Hoping that someone will take pity on me :D

Are you bleeding them with the CH turned off. If it is on, in some rads air will be drawn in.
Air rises so it tends to be trapped in upstairs rads, rather than downstairs.
If this does not help, I will need to know more about your CH system.

Try turning the speed setting on the pump down as the pressure may be drawing air into the system.

Thanks for the replies, apologies for not looking sooner - connectivity problems.
I do switch off the heating when I bleed it, the pump was on the higher setting so I've turned that down, we'll see how it goes.
Hopefully won't need to be back for any more advice but thanks very much. :D
