by pok4r » Wed Jan 23, 2008 4:30 pm

HELP !! :?
I have just installed french doors (internal) they are rebated and would like ideas to the best form of latch/catch.
dont like idea of building one half up and cutting out opposite rebate,.these are 48'' wide half glazed and dont have to be locked!
i intend putting bolts on one door top and bottom using mostly only one door
Theyt are pine, 13/8'' thick.

cheapest and easiest solution is to use a roller catch.fitted to the top of the door and the keep to the head of the frame.then just fix your handles in position.price is less than £2.
