What's the difference between a 90 degree bend and a 90 degree elbow as used on a vertical flue system?

Bonzo, been studying the Worcester website and they do two 90' bends.

one type has a socket and rubber seal on both the flue gas inner pipe and the air intake outer pipe - part number: 7716191084

the other type has only a socket and rubber seal on the inner flue gas pipe and the outer pipe has not got a socket and is secured to the mating pipe by a metal twin screw sleeve. - part number : 7719002348

seems like both will do the same job??
