if i use pushfit fittings connected to copper surely i dont need to earth clamp them

ive not got the water regs book at hand but there is a belive that the clamping ring(metal) inside the pushfit may act as a conductor for the two copper sections either side
for the small cost is it worth not doing

As there is no electrical path through a plastic pushfit fitting,even with copper either side, you will have to bridge the fitting with earth clamps.
