I bought a wallpaper remover and am really pleased with it but it is blowing some of the plaster off the wall too.
I was going to remove the wallpaper from all 4 walls in the hallway but stopped after only removing paper from 1 wall because some plaster was coming off too.
It is not like I can turn the heat down or anything because it is either steaming or not and I only left the plate on the paper for a couple of seconds which is enough for the paper to come off easily with a scraper.
The property was built in 1984.
Any tips would be appreciated.
