Sanding narrow area

What sanding machine should I use in a hallway to narrow for a drum sander

Hi Bernie
It must be a narrow hallway as most drum machines are about the width of an average adult. Most have drums of 8 or 10" (200 or 250mm)
Assuming the problem is the boards are running across the narrow width and any sanding using a drum sanding machine would be across the grain you should use some form of rotary machine like a Trio. The problem is these are also quite large and heavy.
If the area is just very small and you cannot get a run with a drum sander, you should use an edger for the edges as normal and a palm type sander for the middle.
