Brand new to this forum my problem is i need to wire in a new CROMPTON capacitor start 3/4 HP motor on a lathe this has three terminals connection Z2 and U2 U1 being Neutral and Live. The BROOKE GRYPHON MOTOR it is replacing has four connections A1 A2 Z1 Z2 all of which are in use and wired in to a DEWHURST Type A reversing drum type switch, can anyone tell me laymans terms how i can do this? possibly with a diagram (if needed) using the same Dewhurst switch, already in place on the lathe
I have tried to get various electricians round to sort this out but they either don't know or don't want to know! that is if they turn up at all
so here's hoping i can get help on this forum
