I want to convert my entrance porch flatroof to a pitched roof. Could this be a DIY job, or would planning application be required? If it is possible to do this myself, where can I get plans to do so, or are there pitchroof sets available for this?

Talk to the building control officer abouty this as it may need planning permission. It is possible to do this yourself but if you have no experience it may pay you to enlist the help of an architect to do a drawing for you and at least you will then know what materials to use.
