which woodenflooring is better to tile on? Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

We're just about to redo our whole bathroom, we've bought tiles for the floor but some of the floor boards are rotten, so instead of replacing the floor boards we were wondering if there was a better wooden flooring to tile on, we've asked advice from different people, some have said we want 18 ml chip board and others have said we'd be better with exterior ply, Which is best??

I would suggest Marine Ply as this will be easier to fit and will last longer in a bathroom environment.
