Is there a standard height to wall mount a shower mixer above the shower tray/floor? 1 metre seems about right but I'd like it to be right.

There is no standard height no. 1 metre of the shower tray sounds a good height

is there a retaining clip that the shower hose goes thru ? on the slider bar
this is to stop the shower head falling into the tray stopping any backlow,contamination etc
