is there any debris or any other obstruction that might interfere between the thermocouple and flame?

Have the burner, injectors, pilot and filter been cleaned ?
in other words when was your last annual gas service carried out ?

Have the boiler serviced by a CORGI registered installer, if there's any faults they will be found, repaired or they will advise on the best action to be taken, from ordering parts to replacing boiler.
