Hello,
We are renovating our house and part of the renovation involved taking down a wall in the kitchen. Our boiler was hung on this wall. One of our neighbours is a CORGI registered gasman and so he came round and took it down with me. This was some time ago.
This saturday just gone he came back round to re-install the boiler. It has changed position but only by rotating it by 90 degrees onto the adjacent wall. It still uses the same flue hole. Everything went fine and we now have some heating once again.
He is not self-employed, he works for a firm of heating engineers but does these jobs for neighbours at weekends. I don't know if this makes a difference. My question is do I need to have any kind of certification or anything?
Obviously I have the paperwork for when the boiler was first installed but I wasn't sure if I need any additional documents or anything.
Thanks
